The following frequently asked questions should help answer your Returns query. If you require further assistance, please contact our Customer Support team.

 

What is Wittner's refund policy?

At Wittner we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase so our returns and exchange policy has been designated to be as easy as wearing our shoes!

Whether you shop in-store or online our process is the same.

If you have a change of heart, you can return or exchange any item that is unworn and in its original condition to any Wittner store or Wittner online, within 30 days or order receipt to receive a full refund or credit.

Returns will be accepted on any faulty or wrongly described merchandise returned to any Wittner store or Wittner online within a reasonable timeframe, after assessment by a Wittner representative.

For any purchases of product made outside of a Wittner store (eg. Purchases from The Iconic), the return must be processed at the business where the original purchase was made

How do I return an item?

To return in person: Simply show your Order Confirmation (this was emailed to you when you placed your online order, or the receipt enclosed when you received you received your items) at any Wittner store, within 30 days of purchase, and our store staff will be happy to assist you with processing an exchange or return.

To return by post: Within 30 days of purchase, please post your item along with the original purchase receipt to:

1/444 Warrigal Rd Heatherton Vic 3202; or 2/1037-2047 Bourke St, Waterloo NSW 2017

Provided the items are returned with the purchase receipt, in an unworn condition and in their original Wittner box, a full refund will be processed by our Customer Service team within 48 hours of goods being received and in the same tender as the original payment. Please note that dependent on your bank; refunds may take up to 5 business days to clear. 

Before you return or exchange:

  1. Retrieve your order number (refer top of the Wittner Order Confirmation Email)
  2. Make sure the product is not worn
  3. Make sure it is able to be returned in its original Wittner box or packaging
  4. Make sure you have the Wittner receipt received with the items

Can I return a sale item?

Yes, any reduced or Sale Merchandise returned to our stores, within 30 days of purchase, can be exchanged, or refunded. A Wittner E-Credit Voucher may be requested for online redemptions. For Click & Collect orders, a store credit note may be issued or a Wittner E-Credit Voucher, if required, will be sent to your email within 2 business days. Please note a store-generated Wittner Credit note can only be redeemed in-store and a Wittner E-Credit voucher can only be redeemed online.

My shoe is faulty. What should I do?

Returns will be accepted on any faulty or wrongly described merchandise returned to any Wittner store or Wittner online within a reasonable timeframe, after assessment by a Wittner representative.

I bought a shoe online, can I return it in store?

You can return items purchased online to any Wittner store. Simply show your Order Confirmation (this was emailed to you when you placed your online order) at any Wittner store within 30 days of purchase and our store staff will be happy to assist you with processing an exchange or return. Use our Store Locater to find your closest store and our Find In Store feature to locate the product for exchange.

Can I return an item to a different location from where I purchased it?

Yes, you can return to any location in the country in currency of purchase.

The item I purchased has now gone on sale. Can I get the difference refunded?

You can return or exchange any full priced item that is unworn and in its original condition to any Wittner store or Wittner online, within 30 days or order receipt to receive a full refund or credit. Reduced or Sale Merchandise returned to our stores, within 30 days of purchase, can be exchanged or a Wittner Credit Note, or E-Voucher may be issued. You can then repurchase the item for the sale price!

How do I return an online purchase?

You can either return your online purchase in person to any Wittner store, or through the post.

Can I exchange my online order?

If you need to exchange your purchase for another size please contact Customer Service on (03) 9428 1900 during business hours (Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm AEST) or email support@wittner.com.au

We will send the new size back to you anywhere in Australia at no additional cost, however you are responsible for all return postage costs.

Can I return my online order in store if I paid with Afterpay or Zippay?

Yes, you can return any full priced eBay order to any store within 30 days, as long as the shoes are unworn and in their original condition. The store will need to notify the Head Office for the processing of a refund, exchange or credit note.

How do I return an Afterpay or Zippay purchase?

Your payment type makes no difference to our Returns procedure. You can return any full priced online order to any store or online within 30 days, as long as the shoes are unworn and in their original condition. If returned in store, the store will need to notify the Head Office for the processing of a refund, exchange or credit note. 

Reduced or Sale Merchandise bought with Afterpay can also be returned to our stores, within 30 days of purchase, for an exchanged or a Wittner Credit Note issued where an exchange is not possible (a Wittner E-Credit Voucher may be requested for online redemptions).

Can I return an item purchased through Wittner eBay?

All products can be returned for a full refund or credit either via;

1. Visit any Wittner Store* (within 30 days of purchase), or by
2. Return post the goods to 1/444 Warrigal Rd Heatherton Vic 3202; or 2/1037-2047 Bourke St, Waterloo NSW 2017 (within 21 days of purchase) with all documentation enclosed.

Providing the goods are returned with the purchase receipt, in an unworn condition and in their original Wittner box. (PS – Our boxes are amazingly strong and most customers want to keep them for storage
purposes) a refund will be processed by our interactive sales team within 48 hours of goods being received and in the same tender as the original payment. Please note that dependant on your bank; refunds may
take up to 5 business days to clear.

How do I return an item purchased through David Jones?

All purchases made at a Wittner David Jones Concession store fall under David Jones’ Returns and Exchange Policy and must be returned to a David Jones store. Wittner retail stores or online cannot accept returns of product purchased in a David Jones concession store and vice versa. Gift vouchers, e-vouchers and credit notes can only be redeemed in the business of issue. Purchases made within David Jones stores from Wittner concessions will not contribute towards Wittner Co.’s reward status.

Can I return an item purchased through The Iconic/other third party?

Any purchases of product made outside of a Wittner store (eg. Purchases from The Iconic), the return must be processed at the business where the original purchase was made.

I've ordered the wrong size, what do I do?

If your order has been shipped, unfortunately we cannot change it. Please wait until it is delivered and then you can return any full priced item within 30 days for a full refund. Any Reduced or Sale Merchandise returned to our stores, within 30 days of purchase, can be exchanged or a Wittner Credit Note issued where an exchange is not possible (a Wittner E-Credit Voucher may be requested for online redemptions).
